Shepparton High School endeavours to support all students and families when they are experiencing difficulties. Whether they be health related, social or emotional, family related or are due to circumstances beyond their control.
We have a number of support staff in the school to assist students with difficulties that they may be facing. These include our Student Wellbeing Coordinator, School Chaplin, Adolescent Health Nurse, Year Level Leaders and the student’s Teacher Advisor.
The Teacher Advisor Program is our core program enhancing the pastoral care and welfare of the learners of Shepparton High School. Each student is assigned a Teacher Advisor on enrolment in the school. The Advisor meets daily with their TA class and supports each student in their organisation, goal setting, and career planning and general wellbeing.
Below are some external organisations that can provide further student wellbeing support.
