Shepparton High School is a member of the Doctors in Secondary Schools initiative. More information regarding the initiative can be found here.
This initiative is designed to provide general practitioners in 100 victorian government secondary schools for up to one day a week to provide medical advice and health care to those students most in need.
We are partnering with University of Melbourne Shepparton Medical Centre working together to bring the Doctors in Secondary Schools initiative to students. A general practitioner and a nurse from Shepparton Medical Centre will be available for appointments at the school between 8:30am and 12:30pm on Tuesdays during school terms. The doctors are: Dr Helen Malcolm, Dr Gwen Liow, and Dr Ed Siauw. They will be supported by registered nurse Gaynor Hobijn.
