Effective careers and transition programs are a vital component of school strategies to improve student engagement and increase school completion. We provide our students with career development programs that equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to become self-reliant career managers and have every opportunity to succeed.
We have established vital community partnerships with organisations in our wider community to assist our students with School based Traineeships/Apprenticeships, Vocational Education and Training opportunities, Volunteer opportunities, University exploration and tertiary level educational extension opportunities.
The Pathways Team includes a Careers Counsellor, VCAL Coordinator, Assistant Principal, Team Leaders, Koorie Educator and English as an Additional Language Coordinator. Together this team manages student career action plans, job applications, interview techniques, University and TAFE course information and pre-requisites. Subject advice is also provided for students transitioning into VCE and VCAL.
